When it was time for me to write my first piece professionally, I had many thoughts running in my head. Will the client like it? Will I live up to the expectations? Can I write?

These questions grew into a ''Thought Loop".

All of us, at some point, have been through it. 

A thought loop is the repeated thoughts, beliefs, and actions that guide your life. It is a pattern that makes you who you are. A harmful practice to have, but unconsciously, we fall prey to it.

When you think that you don't deserve the high pay, you're doubting your capacity. After that, you lose self-confidence. Losing confidence affects your performance. And before you know it, it's a repeated action. This thought loop hinders your progress and stays between your work and life.

How to get out of it?

The first step is to believe in yourself. Have practical goals and give yourself enough space to achieve them. If you find yourself stuck to a thought, you could do something you love the most at that moment. This will give your brain time to distract and change the thought process.


Where to go from here

Being stuck in a state of mind makes it difficult to focus on the other aspects of life. A simple redirection of your thoughts could make all the difference.
